Tracking, Trading and Investing in the Markets

Understanding the Posts

This page would explain you on how to use the tips shown on the blog in the most effective way. As we move on, I would be adding tips in different categories. Depending on the duration of the tip, you should use appropriate strategy.

Short Term Trading Tips: (Duration from 1-3 months)

For any short term trading tip (equity or future), one should always look at the amount you can invest in it and the risk percentage associated with the trade. If you are comfortable and ready to forego this much amount, then only you should enter. The stoploss provided for the trade might be low but as a trader, you can put the stoploss of higher value depending on your risk taking capacity. For the targets also, you should look at your own trading style and be ready to book profits if the target as per your style is achieved. Like many have a rule that every 5% profit or in terms of money value, any profit of 5K, and I would get out of the trade. Similarly for losses, any loss over 2K or 2%, and I would get out of the trade. The strategy mentioned in the tip are for guidelines but a person following the trade should try to map it to his or her own style and then enter the trade.

Medium Term Trading Tips: ( Duration from 3-6 months)

For Medium Term tips returns would typically be higher than short term and for a longer duration. The shares recommended under this would be based on technical and fundamental analysis.

Long Term Trading Tips: (Duration over 6 months)

For Long term tips, the stoploss and returns would be high and for a longer duration. These tips would typically be for equity and even if there is a future for the specific stock, I would not suggest to take future route as there might be margin pressures and the daily debit /credit of money from your account can unnerve you. The shares recommended under this, would be based on technical breakout and the fundamental aspect of growth and value.

Trading Tips: (Duration less than a month)

For Trading tips, the scrips mentioned would be based on momentum or expected breakout because of very good formation on charts, oversold reason and scrip being at support so that it can give a good bounce or rise in very short term. People who have been trading and have equipped themselve trading in such short duration should enter such scrips. At times these scrips , though mentioned as trading tip can also be short term investment but that depends on specific scenario.

Updates:

I would be posting updates on my tips in the same post in every few days depending on the type of the tip (short term or long term). The updates would be posted at the top with date mentioned of the update in the post.

Closing the Tip:

Once the stoploss or targets are hit or there has been no movement in share and one should get out, in these cases I would be closing the post and moving it to Closed Category.

I hope this helps you in understanding how you should build your strategy for the tips suggested by me on this blog.

Happy Trading and Investing!
